“ This place is in a really unassuming building - it looks like it used to be a store that had an apartment upstairs. It now has some really comfortable couches upstairs and plenty of seating. A fantastic tap list and bottle room, and their kitchen serves up some fantastic dishes. Strong recommend their reuben sandwich, and their tacos are great for a quick bite. Their meat and cheese platter is fantastic if you've got a group that needs some nibbles. I've always loved the vibe of this place - it's definitely somewhere you can come to meet friends or take care of some work or studying while sipping and snacking. Their staff is incredibly kind and always happy to provide a recommendation. ”

“ This place has so much seating! And a free arcade lounge area bottle room and upstairs and outdoor seating. Great tap and bottle selection in all types of alcohol. The service was fine, order at the bar and they'll bring it to you. I had the Ruben. It was a good Ruben. The sauerkraut was house made and could have brined a little longer. Other than that I'd recommend a perusal. ”

“ Was in Vancouver to check out the waterfront but wanted something away from the crowds for lunch. Checked Yelp and found this place. Anywhere with such great reviews deserved a try. The employee behind the counter was very friendly. The outside deck was clean and bright! We shared an Italian grinder (based on several reviews). It was awesome! Bread was fresh, lots of meat and the vegetables were fresh. When we come back I'll ask for less mayo and more pickled peppers. Beer and cider were cold and lots of choices. ”

“ Pictures are in poor quality but don't let that deceive you that this is a really great area with great food. The Italian grinder sandwich was better than I expected, it didn't feel heavy at all and was just enough to make me feel content after a long day at work. They offer sake, beers on tap, wine, and they have a bottle shop if you want to either buy and drink there (with a cork fee) or bring it home. Great environment. Upstairs gets stuffy so we stayed downstairs. Didn't care for the girl at the front register who was being a bit rude and told me to "move out of the way" so she can help the person behind me when I was reading the menu. She could have been nicer about it. But the guy at the front was very friendly and patient with us and our picks. We would come back. ”
